Action cameras have traditionally only captured a small window of the real world. The Insta360 One X2 camera is a modern breed that captures everything in a single sphere. You can easily capture VR experiences with nifty editing techniques.

Insta360 One X2 has a sturdy, rectangular shape. The Insta360 One X2 is small enough to carry in your pocket, but sturdy and robust enough that you will still need to take care of it. It comes with a stylish neoprene bag that provides extra protection for those times when you only need to keep the camera close at hand.

The weather conditions that I tested the Insta360 One X2 initially influenced my initial impressions. Winter can be dark and gloomy in Western Washington so I had to shoot in dim lighting most of the time. When I tried to edit the footage, I was shocked at how bad it looked. The One X2 was able to produce decent looking photos and videos when it had plenty of lighting.
Even if you're running or walking on uneven ground, your shot won't be affected.
The camera's ability to stabilize images is truly remarkable. You don't need to be concerned about taking stable shots even when you're running or walking on uneven ground. Keep this in mind when you look at the Insta360. 360 cameras are more action-focused than ever before. You need to find something that is interesting enough to justify the sacrifices.
One thing you should know about the One X2: its 5.7K recording quality is not as sharp or detailed as you would expect. If you reduce it to a 16x9 frame, you get 1080p. This is good enough to view on your phone, tablet or computer, but it becomes quite significant when you see the image on a larger monitor.

The Insta360 app is the most problematic part of the One X2. But the biggest problem with it was the difficult connection to my camera. To connect to my One X2, every time, I had to repeatedly tap the Connect button within the app until it connected.
The app connects to your device and offers a simple but effective remote control and viewing interface. It also has a powerful editing suite that can process 360 video. It's a highly intuitive and effective tool, which allows you to process 360 videos quickly on-the-go.
Although the software is basic on the One X2, it is easy to understand given the size of the circular touchscreen.
You can also share and interact with others creators on the fully-functional social media platform. The Insta360 app has a lot to offer. Fortunately, the entire app contains extensive tutorials. However, some tutorials are not translated into English.

You can also use Insta360's editing software to get more control over your editing. It was much easier for me to edit the photos on my smartphone via the app.
There are many accessories available to the Insta360 One X2. There are many accessories available for the Insta360 One X2. These include a diving enclosure as well as a bullet-time attachment that allows you to wiggle your One X2 around. A selfie stick is a great idea. I also found a tripod useful for taking timelapse videos.

It is possible that you are trying to choose between a 360-camera and a more traditional action camera. In this case, the GoPro HERO9 black would be the best choice against the Insta360 One X2. The GoPro seems like the best choice, offering better audio and image quality at a more affordable price. The One X2 is the best choice if you are looking to capture special moments without even thinking about your camera.
Despite all its faults, Insta360 One X2 provides easy 360-degree recording and is waterproof.
I had something of a rough start with the Insta360 One X2, but after dealing with setup issues and a steep learning curve, its small size, lightweight, and ease of use made up for its flaws It's ideal for capturing videos in circumstances where you can't be bothered to film with a traditional camera.
