Station 19 is an American action-drama television series that premiered on ABC in March 2018. Season 5 of the show refers to its fifth installment, which aired from September 2021 to March 2022 and consisted of 16 episodes. The series follows the lives of firefighters and paramedics at Seattle Fire Station 19 as they navigate personal and professional challenges while responding to emergencies.
In season five of the popular television series, Station 19, a new character joins the cast: Lieutenant Andrea Herrera. Andrea is the daughter of the late Captain Pruitt Herrera, who was Co-Acting Capt. She was married to Rob Sullivan before her father's death. She resigned her position at Station 19 after her father's death and now works for Station 23. She has to transfer to Station 23 in order to save her son's life. She and Andy are furious and protest her demotion from Captain to Lieutenant in season 4.

In this episode, Station 19 is called to a fire in the Los Angeles area. It turns out to be a drug lab, and several members of the squad are rendered unconscious by the fumes. Meanwhile, Sullivan tries to make Andy feel guilty for breaking protocol and slamming the phone of one of the teens who is filming the scene. However, Sullivan is upset with the children, and he tries to make Andy feel bad by beating up the kid who filmed the scene.
In the Season Five finale, Station 19 follows the firefighters and EMTs of Seattle. The show's main character, Andy Herrera, grew up on the Seattle Fire Department's station. Andy's father was the station's Captain Pruitt Herrera. Watching this episode, viewers will be reminded of the importance of a good relationship between a father and son. The week's episode starts with a visit from a psychologist. After Rigo's death, Ben opens up about the reasons he saved Rigo. Meanwhile, Bailey opens up about her miscarriage and Travis' troubling relationship with his father. Moreover, when Travis' father visits him at the station, he reveals that his photos were stolen from a hacked Facebook account. Finally, Ben performs hand surgery on an HIV-positive man who refuses to go to the hospital. His patient teaches him a valuable lesson about living through grief.

This week's station 19 episode features a new chief and a young girl looking for help. The crew also responds to a call about an SUV being flown off a cliff. After the crew rescues the girl, the chief is fired and a new chief is in place at Station 19.
In this season, Jack and Andy are fighting for the captaincy at Station 19. Both candidates are in competition for the one available position. When Terry gets his hand caught in a brush cutter, Ben amputates it. Vic is also in a fix after losing his brother and a friend to the fire. Andy tries to convince Dean to save himself, but he can't make it. When Sullivan's ambulance arrives, the crew is cut off from the rest of the firefighters. Travis is the acting captain and he saves the day by rescuing a man impaled by a chandelier.
The new chief's arrival is another intriguing plot point. While it is clear that the new chief will do everything to make a good impression, it's also possible that he'll do questionable things to get to where he is. In this way, he can make some changes from the bottom up. And he has the right attitude to do so. So, this season, expect to see more of the characters we love.

They are both hurt and frustrated when the babysitters are unable to get to the scene.
This week's episode finds Jack hooking up with the wife of a fellow firefighter. Meanwhile, Maya tries to mend his friendship with Andy. She tries to make Andy see the light while Vic battles with her own issues. Dean and Rigo confront Jack after a confrontation between Pruitt and Eva. Sullivan also tries to hide his PTSD from Pruitt.
