They are reminiscent of Marshall’s famous guitar amplifiers and ooze elegance with their stunning design. The faux leather exterior and anodized metallic logo make them stand out. They have a professional look thanks to the exposed audio cables connecting each earpiece.
These headphones fold down to a compact size and are supplied with an attractive carry case in the same style as the headphones. Although they are lightweight (208g), the headphones retain an enduring solidity which denotes high quality construction. The case comes with a USB charging and a 3.5mm microphone cable.
You can control the Marshall Mid ANC via a small joystick located on the left-hand earpiece. It is used to turn the headphones on or off, adjust volume and skip tracks. Although it's an easy system that is elegant, I had some issues turning it on when I accidentally clicked and held it down instead of clicking.

As long as you don't have a large head, the Marshall Mid ANC headphones will be comfortable. Even at maximum settings, they felt a little tight to my large head. Keep in mind, however, that these headphones may be more comfortable than I find them to fit my head. The earpads and headband are both well-padded.
Marshall Mid ANC is a standout because of its outstanding audio quality. Lows sound punchy and mids clear and powerful. The highs have a sharp clarity and are piercing. It is evident in 2Cellos rendition of Thunderstruck by 2Cellos, which I love to use as a test track for headphones and speakers. This song was brought to life by the Mid ANC's 40mm drivers. It is a familiar track to me.
The Marshall Mid ANC also enjoyed Six Days in June from The Fratellis. It was especially noticeable how vocals and instruments were separated, which gave the song depth and complexity.
They are fashionable and stylish.
A lot of the depth and clarity in Alright by Pearl Jam was what I enjoyed most. The Marshall Mid ANC's ability to give me a sense of space was something I found remarkable.
The Marshall Mid ANC can produce terrifyingly high volumes. At 30%, I felt comfortable with my listening. You don't have to increase the volume too loud to drown out outside noise. These headphones have amazing Active Noise Cancelling (ANC).
Even in loud environments, they can drown out or reduce noise significantly. The Marshall Mid ANC was able to reduce nearby conversation to a whisper and also cut out loud lawnmowers and birds outside. It was thankfully more subtle in Marshall Mid ANC than other active noise cancelling headphones.
Marshall Mid ANC's internal microphones provide similar high quality audio for calls. These microphones are as good for listening to music as they can be for communicating.
I didn't have to charge them once in the thirty hours I spent testing the Marshall Mid ANC. Marshall claims that the headphones can last for 30+ hours using Bluetooth, Active Noise Cancelling or both. It also says they will keep you going for up to 20 hours if you use both. The claimed battery life was accurate when I connected to Bluetooth.
The battery lasts for several weeks and can be charged in about three hours. You can use the included 3.5mm cord to charge your headphones.
Marshall's Marshall Mid ANC headphones feature Bluetooth aptX technology. This allows for higher-quality audio transmission up to 10m with faster response times. These headphones have a remarkable audio quality that I found to be very enjoyable. I also never had any problems with video response times.
These phones offer excellent range. Since audio was not interrupted, I found that several times my phone had been left in one of my rooms and moved to another side. When testing the distance, I found that my headphones were able to be left in my backyard so that I could walk to my front yard. They were able to maintain a connection up to twice the claimed range, despite obstacles that could be seen.
For its outstanding audio quality, the Marshall Mid ANC is a standout.
It was easy to easily share music with my friends via the Marshall Mid ANC. A 3.5mm cable is available to attach additional headphones to Bluetooth devices. It is an easy and efficient way to share music.
The MSRP for the Marshall Mid ANC at $279 is definitely a high price. They can still be purchased for half the price, if you wait to get a deal, or shop around.
The Status BT One is a budget-friendly alternative to Marshall Mid ANC. The Status BT One is a much cheaper option than the Marshall Mid ANC. They also have a better audio quality and are more suitable for larger heads. The BT One's build quality is a major downgrade compared with the Mid ANC and lacks active noise cancellation.
These wireless Bluetooth headphones by Marshall Mid ANC can be expensive, but they are a great value.
Despite having a higher MSRP and smaller size, Marshall Mid ANC headphones offer exceptional audio quality and excellent build quality. They also have a strong Bluetooth connection and tons of style. These headphones are the most comfortable on-ear headphones that I've ever tried. They also have a great price.
