Sennheiser Presence UC Bluetooth headset is a good choice for a single-sided use. However, it's more expensive than the wireless earbuds with better audio quality.

It is a stylish device, the Presence-UC. Its black and silver exterior is eminently preferable to the broken Q-tip-stuck-in-the-ear appearance of Apple Earpods—the Presence-UC is very much the earpiece of the dynamic executive.
The portability aspect is equally impressive. The case is lightweight and easy to carry. It is important to note that this case can hold the entire earpiece as well as its accessories. However, fitting all of it into it is difficult. Particularly the charging cable has a tendency to slip out of its slot.
Sennheiser Presence UC is up against high-quality wireless earbuds that are more affordable and of higher quality.
Although the controls were difficult to use, it was easy to get used too. It gave me excellent control over volume and phone calls. The satisfying power mechanism, whereby the front of your earpiece can be pulled out to turn on and then pushed in again to turn off the power, was also something I appreciated. It is very reassuring and gives you an indication of your power status.

The Presence-UC was difficult to fit into my ear at first. I found the ear hook awkward and clumsy, as well as the uncomfortable earpad to be inconvenient. Although the discomfort could be alleviated by one of the included earpads that were slightly larger than the Bose, it wasn't as comfortable as my Bose earbuds.
After a couple of days, I realized that my problem wasn't with the earpiece at all. It was easier to put on and was more comfortable than I thought. With enough practice, I found it easy to slide in one-handed. The trick is to allow the earpad to rest in your outer ear. It's extremely comfortable and can be used for long periods of time if it is properly fitted.
Even in the most secure, but still optimal position of the Presence-UC, I had no trouble keeping it on my ear. It remained in place no matter how vigorously I shake my head.

Although the Presence-UC has a very good sound quality, I was not impressed. The conversations are very pleasant on both ends, particularly for the receiver. It sounded almost like I was speaking on speakerphone to people I spoke with while I used it. The Presence-UC is a single earpiece that can be used to listen to music. However, it's fine if you're comfortable listening only through one ear. It performed very well across a wide range of frequencies. The Presence-UC does not have noise cancellation, but this can be a benefit for wireless earpieces as it will allow you to stay aware of what is around you.
The Presence-UC isn't a complicated device—it has one task to do and it does it well. It does have some useful features, such as wind noise reduction and noise filtering. It doesn't reduce the sound you hear but it is intended to help you understand the conversation better. Although the end result may not be impressive, it can help.
Presence-UC supports digital assistants as well, which I found very useful. It allowed me to search Google for directions and dial phone numbers in a matter of seconds.
Its black and silver exterior is eminently preferable to the broken Q-tip-stuck-in-the-ear appearance of Apple Earpods.
The Presence-UC has Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity well implemented. It was easy to get connected to and it worked quickly. The advertised range of 25 meters seemed accurate. I could easily navigate between rooms using my computer or phone without any signal loss.
Sennheiser states that the Presence UC will last for up to 10 hours on its own without needing to be charged, which seems more than a little accurate. The Presence-UC can easily last enough for you to make it through your workday with plenty of juice.
Although the Presence-UC's MSRP is $200, it can be purchased for around half of that. It's not a cheap deal, but wireless earbuds with the same quality and functionality are available in the same price range.
Sennheiser Presence UC and any other wireless earpiece are up against high-quality, affordable wireless earbuds. Bose Wireless Soundsport, a great example of this wireless earbud is. The Soundsport has been my daily companion for almost two years. It is extremely durable and can withstand any abuse. The Soundsport is more affordable than the Presence-UC, and it has similar retail pricing.
The Presence-UC's lack of passive noise cancellation for spatial awareness may be appealing to some. Its extra weight might also appeal.
Sennheiser Presence UC headset is a great choice. The headset is well-designed and has a good sound quality. It's also easy to use, once you are used to the design. The basic idea of wireless earpieces may be outdated. You might prefer to use a pair of good wireless headphones instead.
