Willful M98 Bluetooth headset is targeted at truckers and workers in call centers. Plantronics is a trusted brand among drivers and desk workers for many years. There are many choices available, including options from Logitech and Sennheiser. Workers have many options at different prices, with the Willful M98 being one of the most affordable. The Willful M98 was tested for one week. I took calls, attended meetings and listened to music.

It is a fairly standard headset design for the Willful M98. The headset is a simple single-speaker model with an earcup on one end and a headband which goes around your head and rests against it on the other. The microphone, which extends out of the ear cup, is almost 5.5 inches in length—long enough that it positions in front of your mouth when it's extended, yet it doesn't sit too close to the face. You can place the microphone on the right or left side of the speaker, depending on what is most comfortable.
The controls for the headset are located on the same side as the mic and speaker. This allows you to easily use all functions of the headset with just one hand, while also performing other functions such mouse clicking or typing. You can use your other hand to access the controls.
You can place the microphone and speaker on the right or left side of the mic.

It's not heavy and bulky so you can wear it for many hours. The M98 weighs in at 50g and is only half a millimeter thick. After about 30 minutes, I lost track of the M98.
It is a small, round-shaped earcup that measures less than 2 inches in diameter. The padding has been covered with vinyl for added comfort. The flexible, curved section is located on the other side of the ear cup that rests against your head. It adjusts to the perfect fit and doesn't press against the eyes, head or face.

The M98 headset is a good choice for those who want to have acceptable sound quality. The M98 headset was very clear when communicating via platforms such as Skype or Webex. There were two occasions when I experienced a distortion in the sound and the audio cut out. I also had difficulty hearing the other person on the other side. Other than those two cases, I was able to make 50 calls using the headset with excellent quality.
Although the M98 is capable of connecting to up to 2 devices at once, you cannot use it with more than one. The sound quality of the headphones was poor when I used it to play music from my phone. The bass wasn't strong and there was no clear differentiation between the treble, mid-tones and treble. My iPhone XR had speakers, but the music sounded tinny and hollow.
The charging station is magnetic, and it holds the headset securely in place. The magnet in the charger station is weak so it is best for desk workers. However, in turbulent environments (like trucks), the charger stand won't be able to hold the headset steady.
The charging station can also be used as a stand to charge the headset when it's not in use. This is a plus. The headset doesn't need to be charged because it is placed on the charging station when it's done with a call. It feels as though it never needs to be charged. You can also plug the cable directly into your headset, instead of using the stand to charge it. It charges quickly, in about 2 hours. The battery can last for approximately 17 hours talk time and about 200 hours standby.
It also acts as a charging station for your headset, so it can be charged intuitively.
The main earcup has controls for volume and song changes. There's also an option to pair the headset with your device and control the headset's power. When you are on a call, and want to put someone on hold, the microphone also has a physical muffle button.
The Willful M98 is usually less expensive than $40. It is usually available for sale at around 37 dollars, which is a fair price.
Plantronics Voyager Focus UC makes a great choice for call centre workers. The Plantronics Voyager Focus UC has a number of great features including a long range wireless connection, triple microphones with digital signal protection, excellent call quality and an attractive, durable design. Plantronics Voyager Focus UC comes with a carry case. Voyager UC has many advantages over Willful M98. It's kind of like buying a $90,000 car versus a $20,000 car—both cars will get you from point A to point B, but one is a higher-tier model. Although the Willful M98 headset is a good basic option, it will not offer the same features and flash as a Plantronics Voyager Focus UC.
The Willful M98 Bluetooth headset is decent in sound and comfort. It's also very affordable.
