It's great to be able to take something from the box and immediately start using it. The speaker was connected to our mobile phones and we were listening to podcasts in no time.
The speaker was connected to our mobile phones and we were listening to podcasts within minutes.
Also, the instructions clearly explain how to use Siri, Google Voice commands, voice prompts and speakerphone. This little stereo is easy to use.

All of our Bluetooth connections were stable except for the Acer C720 Chromebook which experienced intermittent disconnections and timeouts. The connection worked well with Android, iOS and Windows. Although we were unable to determine if this system worked with Chromebooks older than Chromebooks, ChromeOS has a history of Bluetooth connectivity problems.
You can pair the SoundLink Revolve+ with another speaker using the Bose Connect App, which is available on both iOS and Android devices. Although the app doesn't need to be used in order to use Revolve+ it allows you to manage Bluetooth connections and connect up two speakers at once in Party Mode. You can also set up Stereo Mode so that left or right channels are played back. Bose Connect is intuitive and well-designed, unlike other Bose apps.
If you're looking to set up two speakers in different areas and play the same music, Party Mode can be a great option. Stereo Mode, a new feature on portable Bluetooth speakers that allows you to have more control of the sound quality and create a dynamic experience. Stereo listening can be made more interesting by being able to position your left channel and right channel anywhere between each other.
Bose SoundLink Revolve+ was a great choice for sound quality in such a small package. Bose's 360-degree audio is a great example of the quality and tone that we have grown to love. The bass is more defined and powerful when it's placed on certain surfaces. However, the treble in this audio has the same clarity and crispness as the midrange and treble. Mounted on a tripod, the bass remains clean and well-defined. It also mixes well with other audio frequencies.
Bose SoundLink Revolve+ was a great choice for sound quality in a small package.
The speaker is loud and clear with minimal distortion. However, we prefer to keep the volume below 75%. We found that the speaker can produce some distortion at higher volumes. The bass is a bit too loud for certain musics, and it's not something most people need.
We are very pleased with its audio quality. It can be used to play many genres of music and it will sound amazing. It also works well as a speaker in meetings or conference calls.
Bose boasts 16 hours battery life for the SoundLink Revolve+. We found this to be true. This speaker can easily last through a workday, and it will probably still be able to power up for an after-hours party.
Although there isn't a visible indicator of the battery, the sound that the device makes when it turns on tells you how much is left. To check your battery life, you will need to turn it off again and power it on again.
The SoundLink Revolve++ was used almost daily by us to listen to music and podcasts while we cooked. We could listen to the SoundLink Revolve+ for several days on a single charge, even if we listened in short intervals. Although portable Bluetooth speakers have a longer life span, 16 hours of battery life is sufficient for the majority.
Bose SoundLink Revolve+ Bluetooth speakers are priced at $299.99 (MSRP). This is especially true if you plan to purchase two of them to be used in Stereo or Party mode. You've probably used Bose products before and know the high-quality sound quality as well as the great design. As soon as you pick it up, the whole device feels and looks great—it's easy to tell that it's built to last.
Bose also offers the Revolve, a cheaper version of the speaker. The battery lasts 12 hours and there is no handle. Although it may seem simple, we loved the handle. It made this speaker so easy to hold and move around. The Revolve+ would be our choice over the smaller version.
The JBL Xtreme 2 Bluetooth portable speaker is a close competitor to the Bose SoundLink Revolve+. The price is comparable to Bose's and the battery lasts just half an hour.
The JBL Xtreme 2 offers a wide range of features, including waterproof construction, 4 drivers and stereo sound. It can also wirelessly connect to other JBL Connect+-enabled speakers.
JBL Xtreme 2 was designed to be a portable speaker that can be taken with you wherever you go. The JBL Xtreme 2 comes equipped with a carry strap, a bottle opener and a glass opener to allow you to enjoy your beer while you're setting up your tent. It also features a speakerphone and aux input, as well as voice assistant integration like the SoundLink Revolve+. You can also charge other devices with the Xtreme 2's regular USB port.
JBL speakers are known for their excellent sound quality. However, they tend to be more heavy-bass and louder than Bose. Two JBL Bass Radiators are used in the JBL Xtreme 2 to produce a deep bass sound. The Bose speaker can produce 360° sound but the JBL speaker produces stereo and directional sounds.
Both speakers can be carried around, but they have different functions. We imagine the JBL Xtreme 2 being used on a rafting trip or camping trip with our friends, and the Bose SoundLink REvolve+ at the house for parties and chilling.
We love Bose SoundLink Revolve+ for its excellent sound quality, beautiful design and unique carry handle. It's one of the most loved portable Bluetooth speakers.
