The Dali Oberon 5 floor speaker is beautiful in appearance, sound great, and very space conscious.
The Dali Oberon floor speakers 5 were my first purchase. I was very impressed with their sound quality. These are the most elegant floor speakers I have ever seen. They don't take up too much space making them an excellent choice for apartment living. The Oberon 5's sound amazing, which is a good thing for you and me. These speakers are small in size but produce an impressive soundstage with incredible detail throughout their range.
They are also not excessively difficult to drive—their 88dB sensitivity and a 6-ohm nominal impedance mean that most amplifiers won't have trouble bringing these speakers to life. You will have a better listening experience if you pair them with an amplifier that is more expensive, although it is nice to be able to get the speakers at an affordable price.
Hi-Fi may not be the easiest to approach. You can easily spend whatever amount you have available for Hi-Fi. While the Dali Oberon 5 is definitely not the cheapest pair of speakers you could buy, it still offers a lot more than the less expensive options. We'll look at what Dali made with the Oberon 5 to see if it simplifies these choices for potential buyers.

For its floor-standing, elegant design, the Dali Oberon 5 is highly praised. We tested the model in Light Oak trim. However, depending on the space, you may choose to place them in Black Ash, Dark Walnut or White. These trims are not something I have experience with, however, I think they will be a great choice if the model I tested was anything like mine.
They are just 32.6x6.3x11.1 inches in size (HWD), and rest on a pair very solid metal feet. These dimensions are comparable to the Klipsch RP-5500F floor speaker, measuring 32.6x6.3x11.1 inches (HWD). The RP-5000F floor speakers are not large enough to be considered the best, but the Oberon 5's have a significantly smaller footprint in all dimensions. Practically, this means many people may still have the space for floor speakers in their rooms.
These guys sound incredible when they listen to music but also provide some amazing bass for moments of tension on television and film.
You will feel the cabinets very rigid and dense when you first remove them from their boxes. The cabinets were made from MDF board high-density, machined MDF boards and covered in vinyl outside. You'd see bracings running through the cabinets, likely contributing to the solid and dense feel.
Two 5.25-inch SMC-based wood fiber woofers are used in the speakers, and one lightweight soft dome speaker is 29mm. The gray grille covers the front of the speaker, and the bottom two-thirds. The Oberon 5's back features a bass reflex port located in the third lowest part of the tower. At the very bottom are the banana-plug-friendly, single-wire connection inputs.

It does a remarkable feat with the Dali Oberon 5, which produces crisp and clear sound while maintaining large sound quality. Do you worry that reducing the size of your floor speakers will result in a lower bass response or a smaller sound? I have good news. During testing the speakers, my main concern was whether neighbors would call the police. These speakers sound great when you listen to music. However, they can also produce some incredible bass for dramatic moments in films and television.

Nils Frahm's Screws was my first album to test music. This is a piano solo album that was recorded with a single microphone. It leaves out every detail you wouldn't expect to hear on a final recording. You can make out the sound of the hammers hitting the strings, errant creeks as the musician's foot presses and releases the sustain pedal—at least you with a decent pair of speakers or headphones you can. These details were brought to life by the Oberon 5, who delivered a personal listening experience with warmth and intimacy that was almost like an actual live performance.
You don't have to listen to gentle piano music in your quiet moments. The Oberon 5 can also be used to play electronic music like Joe Hertz's I Owe You and Oliver's Mechanical. The Oberon 5 was able to handle both of them with ease.
The Oberon 5 is a great choice for home theatre setups. I am happy with the performance of this particular role. You might have to contend with the fact that many movies and TV shows offer a huge dynamic range, which is a significant advantage over most other music. This means there will be a wide variety of sounds and noises. It is great for immersive, accurate listening, but it can be a problem if someone is asleep.

You can usually find the Dali Oberon 5 as a pair for between $1099 and $1999. This speaker is very expensive for its class and Dali has to compete with some tough competitors. This shouldn't surprise me, considering these speakers outperform the majority of their competitors.
Many people will still be satisfied with the Oberon 5's sound and design, even though they are not as popular as the Q Acoustic 3050i or Klipsch RP-5000F. They sound fantastic and cost hundreds less than the Oberon 5, but take up much more room.
Those with smaller budgets and larger rooms might also consider the Klipsch RP-5000F (see on Amazon)—a great sounding floor speaker in its own right. Although the RP-5000F stands significantly taller and deeper than the Oberon 5, they are available online at a fraction of their cost.
The RP-5000F is also significantly more sensitive than the Oberon 5, which averages 88dB. This means that you will need significantly less power to drive the Klipsch speakers—a big potential benefit depending upon your amplifier. The RP-5000F is not the only one that has this feature. Klipsch has always been known for its power efficiency throughout their history
In Dali's defense, the Oberon 5's are smaller, offer more clarity overall, and can be bought in a number of sophisticated-looking trims. This is not an easy battle, but buyers should be aware of the many options available.
Dali Oberon 5 floor speakers are, in my opinion, by far the most impressive I have ever heard. This Danish company has managed to combine a stunning design with an impressive sound and a compact package. The price tag is high and may not suit everyone, particularly in a competitive market.
