As you can probably guess, the PowerShot SX620 isn't really meant to shoot films—it's just there to record simple video at a decent quality. Due to its small sensor and low file output, the Canon PowerShot SX630HS photo quality isn't sharp enough for large-format printing.
Due to its small sensor and low file output, the Canon PowerShot SX630HS's photo quality isn't good enough for large-format printing. The inability to shoot RAW images also leaves little room for adjustment before the images start to break apart—this camera only produces JPEG photos, which are compressed files that are inherently lower-quality.
The Canon PowerShot SX620 HS has an on-camera microphone that records average audio at best—it's very sensitive to ambient noise and was noticeable when reviewing our video footage. If you want amazing sound quality, this camera does not have the input ports to connect to an external microphone.

If you plan to shoot for a long time, it is advisable that you always have a spare battery. The battery life of cameras, particularly those with large LCD screens like the Canon PowerShot SX620HS, is not very long. The primary method of reviewing images through the LCD screen is via the camera's battery. Therefore, extended usage will cause the power to drain faster.
The Canon PowerShot SX620HS HS is currently on sale for $250-$275, which is an acceptable price for a point and shooter.
This camera does not have fancy features such as a flip-out touch screen display or 4K recording capabilities—that, along with its slightly-outdated image processor, helps to keep the price low. For $150 less, Canon PowerShot SX740HS, which has many more features than the SX620HS, is available.
The Canon PowerShot SX740HS is available for sale at around $400. It features an enhanced DIGIC8 image processor, which is superior to the SX620. The newer hardware allows for higher resolution image rendering and 4K video recording on the same sensor. The Canon PowerShot SX740HS has improved image stabilization, autofocusing and overall image quality. This camera is also equipped with a 360-degree LCD screen that can be adjusted to make it easier for video bloggers who are able to compose and record their own shots. Creators will be able to rest assured that the 4K resolution is of high quality.
The SX740HS is an excellent way to protect your investment. 4K video is gradually becoming the norm. The Canon PowerShot SX620HS HS is a great option for those who don't need 4K capability.
